This picture was taken from the porch at one of the houses that Shoreline students stay in when they go on the Jamaica Service Learning program. It changes your perspective both literally and figuratively. In the accommodations, there is little to no electricity, no hot water—not much in the way of modern conveniences at all.
Doesn’t that sound great?
No phones to answer, no social media to update, no texts to respond to, no screens to stare at. Just you, your teacher, your classmates, and the amazing and wonderful people of Jamaica.
